I've been writing for Vertigo magazine for four years (including a series of photoessays with Lady Vervaine called "Filmgrimage"), and I wait avidly for the each new issue, not least because a magazine about non-commercial film, and artists' film and video, has a precarious existence in a big-budget "creative industries" world.
