Poems, a Review and an Event

It's not exactly Carson McCullers' "A Tree, A Rock, A Cloud," one of my favourite short stories of all time, but it's news:

  • I'm a Broadsheet Poet in the new issue of Agenda (45:2, CH Sissons special issue): four new poems, including METAL / steel warrior after this sculpture by Maren Dubnick

  • Thanks to fellow Hawthornden Fellow John Greening for letting me know there's a Scalpels review in the Summer issue of Poetry Review: part of a round-up by Jane Holland. I haven't seen it yet...
  • And finally, I'll be celebrating Pride by queering the BFI with a kinky event entitled Future Sex, on Friday 2nd July from 6.10 pm. The event - a panel discussion about future sexualities and/in SF cinema, with Rachel Armstrong, Patricia MacCormack, Katy Price and possibly filmmaker Tina Keane - will be followed by a launch party for Chroma's Utopia issue.
