Archive of the Now offers a glimpse of the Verse Kraken, Fit to Work under the Morning Star in Solidarity Park

Or, what riches June brings. Over at Archive of the Now, a digital audio archive of contemporary experimental poetries, I'm in virtual residence, thinking about space, bees and swarf, which delights Harriet: the Blog. Don't miss your chance to get your very own wax cylinder poetry recording! You might also want to jump into Verse Kraken, a new magazine launching on 20th June, in digital and handmade, limited edition paper form. Filmmaker Jacqueline Wright and I have created a half-girl, half-fish, all attitude hybrid called How to Curse for the issue, the start of (we hope) a longer project...

Elsewhere, and also collaboratively, a raw new work published in the incredible, imaginative magazine _a glimpse of_, inspired by the issue's prompts and translated into Greek by Theodoros Chiotis. Fit to Work: Poets against Atos, co-edited by Mark Burnhope, Daniel Sluman and I, also experienced a win for teamwork, with the award of the first Morning Star award for protest in poetry on Saturday. We haven't brought down Atos, but we have amplified the voice of a community. Speaking of which, a new poetry activism project kicks off today, under the co-editorship of Nia Davies and Sascha Aurora Akhtar: Solidarity Park, occupying poetry in solidarity with #ResistTurkey. Send us your work!
